🚣 Last Friday on immersion class we visited the Olympics Museum of Barcelona. In 1992 the city staged the 25th Olympic Games, with 9356 athletes from 169 countries. There were 257 events in 25 different sports! After the Olympic Games, the 9th Paralympic Games were also celebrated in Barcelona.
⚒️ Barcelona went through many changes to celebrate the Olympics: improvements on its infrastructure – like in the airport -, construction of new sports facilities like the Palau Sant Jordi and the Olympic Port, modernization of hotels and a much more.
