In our A1 guide we’ll study prepositions as well – here are a few cases about possible uses of the preposition “a”.
We use the preposition “a” with verbs that express movement (ir, llegar, viajar…) in order to explain the direction of that movement. For example: Mañana viajo a Barcelona. We also use the preposition “a” to tell distance, either regarding time (está a 30 minutos) or physical distance (está a 10Km). For instance: El aeropuerto está a 30 minutos de Barcelona.
