🤗 Last Friday on immersion class we visited La Boqueria and here are some fun facts we learned about it:
👏 It was considered the world’s best market in the World Markets Congress in Washington in 2005.
🤯 Last year was La Boqueria’s 180th anniversary.
😍 The market’s most popular character is Joan Bayén, also known as
«Juanito», from the bar Pinotxo. He’s now 84 years old and has been working in the market since he was only a 6 year-old boy helping his mother.
