Today we’ll study two very important verbs: QUERER and TENER. They’re both irregular since their roots change – “quer-” and “ten-“.
With QUERER, the E vowel from the root turns into an IE: querer – quiero. However, it’s regular and doesn’t change on “nosotros” and “vosotros”.
The verb TENER is quite similar, but the first person singular is different: tengo. Take a look at the conjugation for both verbs, did you know them already?
