Hybrid Language Courses

All general courses can be taken online because they are in a hybrid format.

If you’re thinking about taking an online course, BCNLIP is the center you
need. We are pioneers in hybrid-format online teaching.
Since 2020 we’ve been implementing this method in all our centers and improving every day so you can enjoy the advantages of an online course without losing the educational quality of the face-to-face method.

5 advantages of the online course

  1. You take part in class in real time: the school is equipped with several microphones, 2 screens, specific teacher training, and tech support so you can enjoy the class as if you were there. You’ll be able to ask the teacher questions and interact with
    your classmates without difficulties.
  2. You follow the same program as face-to-face classes: it’s important to understand that the educational program does not differ from
    the in-person one, which means your knowledge will be the same as in a face-to-face course.
  3. On/offline is interchangeable: if you can’t come in person one day or for a period, or you want to continue your course from
    home, don’t worry—this modality lets you keep following the class online and return at any time. This
    option is valid only for students who are not here on a study visa.
  4. We offer technical support: this type of course requires classroom tech equipment and a lot of training, but at some point you might
    not hear well or have connection issues. It’s important to talk to your teacher so they can
    solve it on the spot. In any case, you can always write to our technical service so they can contact you and
    assess how to improve your experience.
  5. Exams can be online or in person: if you’re in Barcelona, it’s preferable to take the exam
    in person in order to move up a level. If that’s not possible, the school can assess you online.

Teachers

You will always have the support and guidance of your teacher, who will advise you at all times via WhatsApp. Remember that all our teachers meet the fundamental requirements to be part of the teaching team at BCNLIP:

  • Degree in a humanities or languages field, preferably philology.
  • Completion of an ELE course or a language-teaching course.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a language teacher.
  • Proficiency in a foreign language.
