What we do

We develop your overall communicative competence (linguistic, pragmatic, sociolinguistic and strategic) through real, meaningful situations. Classes integrate the four skills, intercultural work and formative assessment, adapted to your pace and needs.

How we do it

  • Communicative, task-based approach: use the language to achieve concrete goals.
  • Collaborative work: pairs and small groups to negotiate meaning and mediate.
  • Autonomy and reflection: learning journal (planning, strategies and self-assessment).
  • Active teaching: ongoing feedback and scaffolding for clear progression by sublevels.

What you gain

Confidence to understand, interact and act in Spanish in everyday and academic contexts, plus a clear A1→C2 pathway you can combine with Inmersión Barcelona whenever you like.

Assessment, guidance and certification

Assessment

Ongoing, formative, competency-based assessment (aligned with PCIC/CEFR). Before starting, students who already have knowledge take a diagnostic placement test (written and oral) to determine the CEFR level and suitable group and identify strengths and needs; it’s mandatory and does not count as contact hours.

During the course, participation, communicative tasks and collaborative work are assessed with regular feedback; the course ends with the final task/project and the Learning Journal. (If the student starts from A0, we do a short orientation to set goals and a support plan.)

Tutoring

Weekly group sessions (Fridays) to adjust goals, strategies and journal follow-up. One-to-one only at the end of the level, with personalized recommendations and a continuity plan.

Weighting

  • General courses — Written and oral tests 50% · Final tasks and unit work 40% · Participation + Learning Journal 10%.
  • Integrated program (general course + immersion) — General course 45% · Immersion 45% · Cultural activities 10%.

Certification

Issue of an internal achievement certificate (requirements: ≥80% attendance and level objectives achieved), with a breakdown by competences and total hours.

If you need official accreditation, we offer guidance and preparation for DELE and SIELE (mock exams, advice and registration) so you can certify your level with international validity.

Complementary activities

In addition to classes and immersion, every week we add activities that take Spanish into real life: themed neighborhood routes, visits to cultural centers, creative workshops, conversation clubs, film forums and meetings with local stakeholders.

They strengthen mediation, confidence and your integration in the city, while feeding your portfolio (guides, chronicles, podcasts).
