27 May What I learned last Friday
🤓Last Friday on immersion class we visited the exhibition “La guerra infinita”, with photos by Antoni Campañà. A period that marked his work was the Spanish Civil War.
📸During the Civil War, the photographer took more than 5,000 pictures in an attempt to overcome the harsh reality of the conflict.
😲Campañà registered scenes like the ladies from the militia, refugees from Málaga in Barcelona in 1937, the ruins after the bombings, soup kitchens and finally, in 1939, the withdrawal of the republican army and the Francoist parades.
