15 Apr What I learned last Friday

🐦 Last Friday on immersion class we went out hunting dragons and other animals through the Gothic Quarter. On this picture we see some of the animals we found
– the swallows and the turtle. You can find them in the mailbox made of white marble in the building where nowadays is Barcelona’s historic archive.
🐢 These animals are an allegory of justice, since the building belonged in the past to the local Bar Association. The swallows symbolize the high flight of justice whereas the turtle stands for its slow pace. It’s also a popular belief that whoever touches its shell will have good luck!
