9 Dec What I learned last Friday

Last Friday on immersion class we learned a bit about Spanish Christmas traditions – and also a few specific traditions from Catalonia.
Did you know that the Christmas Lottery from December 22nd has been celebrated since the year 1812?
The night of December 24th is called Nochebuena and, in many households in Catalonia and Aragon, the Tió de Nadal is the one who leaves presents for the kids.
