2 Apr Sant Jordi Writing Contest

April’s event will be the Sant Jordi Writing Contest. All students may compete according to their levels.

CATEGORY 1: levels A2-B1
-Theme: Write about your daily routine during confinement, talking about any of these aspects: sports, online Spanish studies, flatmates, readings, movies, family, music, cleaning up, Whatsapp…
-Text length must be from 200 to 300 words, title included.

CATEGORY 2: levels B1.2-C2
-Theme: Write a tale about how you imagine the world post coronavirus pandemic, mentioning any of these aspects: work, culture, international relations, economy, trips, crisis, politics, social customs…
-Text length must be within 300 to 500 words, title not included.

RULES:
-Deadline for the texts is Monday, April 20th, at 11:59 pm.
-Only one text per student, to be sent to info@bcnlip.com with e-mail message subject: RELATO
-Two judges will evaluate the texts: one of the teachers and one of the students.
-There will be TWO winners by category and prizes will be related to cultural industry
-Thursday, April 23rd we will announce the winners and Friday, April 24th we will celebrate with a toast.
-PRIZE: EACH WINNER WILL BE ALLOWED TO CHOOSE A BOOK AS A PRIZE
-1 award for teachers’ choice + 1 award for students’ choice on each category
