El collage es una técnica pictórica para realizar una pintura o un dibujo usando diversos objetos (fotografías, revistas, periódicos, postales, etc.) superpuestos y pegados en un soporte. En este taller, primero, vamos a conocer un poco la historia del collage como obra artística, después cada estudiante va hacer un collage. Por último, juntos vamos a preparar una exposición de arte para nuestra escuela, para que los demás estudiantes la vean y voten al mejor collage.

During the visit to World Press Photo 2018 last week we saw several photographs reflecting the social reality of our time: political conflicts, wars, pollution, health problems, etc. This year’s winning photo belongs to venezuelan photographer Ronaldo Schemidt. The photo was made during violent fights between protesters and police in Caracas on December, 3, 2017.
There were many interesting photos, but in addition to Ronaldo’s, there was an image from Swedish Photographer Magnus Wennman, about a new disease: Resignation Syndrome. These are young immigrants in Sweden who have suffered from violence and suddenly go into a coma: they disconnect from reality to sleep, just sleep.

Tomorrow we are starting a new workshop in BCNLIP! It’s a Spanish Culture workshop where you will work on 4 key aspects to understand our culture better: literature, philosophy, art and history. It will be a course of one  trimester for each of the topics mentioned above.
