15 Jul Immersion: cactus garden

🌵Did you know that on the hillsides of Montjuïc there’s a cactus-only garden? It’s the Mossèn Costa i Llobera gardens, named after the poet from Mallorca and inaugurated in 1970.
😍It’s one of the most important gardens in Europe that specialised in cacti and other succulent plants, with and area of over 6 hectares and around 800 species of cacti and other plants.
☀Fun fact: due to its position and orientation, the garden has its own microclimate, usually 2 to 3 degrees Celsius higher than the city’s average temperature.
