Today we’re going to study the second conjugation in Spanish, the one with the verbs ending in -ER, like “leer”, for instance. Do you know it?
To conjugate these verbs we first must eliminate the verb’s -ER ending and then add endings such as -o, -es, -e, -emos, -éis, -en, according to the respective person.
Conjugating the verb LEER we get as a result: yo leo, tú lees, él/ella/usted lee, nosotros/nosotras leemos, vosotros/vosotras leéis, ellos/ellas/ustedes leen.
Now it’s your turn! Can you conjugate “comprender”? Do you know any other verbs in Spanish that end in -ER? We’re waiting for your comments!
