📚Today we’ll study DEMONSTRATIVE ADJECTIVES in Spanish. Do you know them?
🙂 We’ll start reading some sentences. Can you identify the demonstrative adjectives?
👚In a clothing store we can buy: este jersey, esta falda, estos vestidos o estas camisas. We can also buy: pantalones, camisetas, chaquetas…
In a shoe store we can buy: estos tacones, estas botas, estos zapatos o estas zapatillas de deporte.
🤔Can you tell which ones the demonstrative adjectives in these sentences are? They’re ESTE, ESTA, ESTOS y ESTAS.
📌 When and how do we use them? We use them to show and identify something that’s close to the speaker. They always come before the nouns and have the same gender and number as the noun they go with. For example: este vestido, esta falda, estos pantalones, estas camisetas.
📚 You’ll find this info and much more in our A1 Spanish manual LIPEANDO. We’ll tell you more about it soon!
