Immersion class 01/31! All levels at 9:30.

As it is in other parts of the world, soccer is one of the most important sports in Spain. On this immersion class we will get to know the history of soccer in Spain, its teams, its players, its great encounters. We will also get to find out the interesting story of our Fútbol Club Barcelona, one of the world’s most famous teams and one of the symbols of Catalan culture. We will have a special guest this Friday: Marcel Armengol, soccer trainer and great Barça connoisseur.

Here are some of the words and expressions our students learned on immersion class last Friday.

Sexta passada a experiência de imersão do mês do esporte foi uma ida à praia para fazer exercício. Nosso professor César é corredor e ensinou aos alunos técnicas para se preparar para o exercício e praticá-lo de maneira segura e efetiva. Não é só correr, também é preciso alongar-se…

Last Friday our Sports Month’s immersion experience was going out to the beach to do some exercise. Our teacher César is a runner and taught the students some techniques to get ready for running in order to do it safely. Remember: it’s not all about running, you also have to stretch.
