Immersion class 01/31! All levels at 9:30.

As it is in other parts of the world, soccer is one of the most important sports in Spain. On this immersion class we will get to know the history of soccer in Spain, its teams, its players, its great encounters. We will also get to find out the interesting story of our Fútbol Club Barcelona, one of the world’s most famous teams and one of the symbols of Catalan culture. We will have a special guest this Friday: Marcel Armengol, soccer trainer and great Barça connoisseur.

Workout at the beach!

Here are some of the words and expressions our students learned on immersion class last Friday.

Last Friday our Sports Month’s immersion experience was going out to the beach to do some exercise. Our teacher César is a runner and taught the students some techniques to get ready for running in order to do it safely. Remember: it’s not all about running, you also have to stretch.

Thank you Lili for having been in our lives. The vets said you’d only live four years and you’ve given us so many more. For many you have been the best in our school. You lived as a queen and died as one. You’re unique and magical. All dogs go to heaven.

Thursday we’ll meet in memory of her in the schools on Avinyó and Comtessa. In case anyone wants to talk to Sofia she will be at the school Thursday at 4 pm.
