14 Oct Immersion: Cemetery of Poblenou

👼 Last Friday on immersion class we visited the Cemetery of Poblenou and learned about the cult to Francesc Canals i Ambrós, aka Santet. Francesc was born on Ciutat Vella in 1877 and died on 1899 at the age of 22. In 1908 City Hall decided to transfer his tomb to a bigger space due to the ever-increasing amount of worshippers. His tomb now has a glass cover through which people can insert notes with their wishes to Santet.
